Stephanie Sharp Sutton took over as Columbus’ public relations director in late 2019. Stephanie spent part of her early career teaching in special education at the junior high level. This is where she first saw the light of understanding dawn in her students’ eyes. She later worked in sales and enjoyed a two-year stint writing for a local magazine.
Prior to joining the Columbus staff, Stephanie gained eight years of media experience producing radio shows for Utah’s oldest talk radio station. Here she had the opportunity to work with some of the greatest political and economic minds in our nation. Stephanie first came to our school as a volunteer reading teacher in 2017. It is her great love of learning and her belief in the American dream that brings her to our organization.
With her new husband by her side, she and Mr. Sutton continue to work for the future of Columbus Adult Education Center. They enjoy the life they’ve built, sharing it with a herd of silly rabbits, a small flock of laying hens, and a pair of lazy old cats.
