Lubov S – Volunteer Spotlight

Lubov has been in the United States and Utah for 10 years. She lives in Salt Lake City. Lubov lived in Moscow, Russia before coming to the United States.

Lubov has two children. Her son lives in Moscow, Russia with his wife and a daughter. Her daughter lives in Saratoga Springs with her husband, three sons and 2 daughters.

Lubov worked as a cook in a restaurant for 44 years while living in Russia. She is busy helping her daughter with her children, cleaning and cooking. Lubov gets around on the buses, she doesn’t have a car. She is very self-sufficient.

Lubov likes to cook, watch TV, and read.

Lubov is very loved by everyone who interacts with her. The other students love Lubov and the teachers do also. She is delightful.

Lubov is very happy, positive, and cheers everyone up with her big smile and friendliness. She is also very kind and considerate.

Lubov works very hard at school. She pays very close attention; she takes good notes and always answers questions. She takes learning English very seriously. She is doing a great job.
